Yesterday, Venus trined Uranus (right after entering Leo). Love at first sight anyone? Social gatherings are exciting under this influence. Make new friends. And, today Venus is in a trine aspect to Jupiter. R Grisham says of this aspect, “Classy, luxury-loving indulgence makes romance or a social occasion a grand affair! Life is rich with joyous satisfaction.” Mars is also in a trine aspect to Pluto. Passion and intensity combine to make a positive transformation possible. Work hard at it. While we have had a few minor hard aspects to deal with as well, there is hardly a two or three day span in which the astrological aspects are so lopsided in favor of easy and/or fortunate aspects. Hopefully, everyone is making the best of the positive cosmic energy. The Moon is currently transiting Leo, so love and creativity are certainly in the air right now. Tomorrow, Mercury parallels Venus. R Grisham says of this aspect, “Friends are eager to visit or please. A cheerful attitude attracts an agreeable response. Mutual pleasures are fun!”
Closing arguments in the Proposition 8 trial
While it’s impossible to predict with certainty what the outcome of this trial will be, there are some interesting and positive astrological aspects in play right now for same gender marriage advocates. First, Mercury is in a fairly close conjunction to the USA’s natal Uranus. Words and other communications are unique, intelligent, and friendly to minority rights (including gays) issues. Venus is in a moderate sextile aspect to the USA’s natal Uranus. It’s a weak aspect, however it is quite positive for the same gender marriage issue. The USA’s progressed Juno is in a trine aspect to California’s natal Uranus. This is also a very positive aspect for SSM. Mars is in a moderate square aspect to the USA’s natal Uranus. Since Mars has to do with the military and not marriage, my guess is that this aspect might cause some difficulty getting the repeal of DADTDP finalized, but probably not anything negative with regard to SSM.
